i recently started doing these 30 minute studies. they are from photos but no photo textures or actual photo images are in the studies. the purpose is to capture the essentials as quickly as possible. im trying to get the big impression of realism so that at first glance it seems convincing. as i do more of these ill publish some comprehensive tutorials on what im discovering. stay tuned :)
