I’ve just completed a windows 10 install on the low-cost acer es1-111m (aka e11) laptop, my favorite fanless, lightweight, $200 laptop. everything is working but you’ll need to grab some drivers from acer to make sure it all works.. Following this instruction and installing the i/o driver and hitting the fn + f7 solved the missing touchpad pointer problem on my acer e5 575g 57d4 laptop after installing a fresh windows 10 pro and the touchpad pointer failed to show up.. I have an aspire es1-711-p14w and have build 10240 of windows 10 and the elantech touchpad does not function in 10, this is not a hardware issue because it functions fine in windows 8.1. i have tried the drivers from acer, looked in the bios for anthing mouse related..
