When using an ocean liner as a sock dryer, it helps if you happen to be traveling with your entire collection of old wooden clothespins. Keep an eye on the weather: It is undesirable to find that a sudden gale has soaked your sock anew or–worse still–blown it away entirely. Should rough weather arise during dinner, you are advised to leap up (even if dessert is on the way) and waste no time in effecting a rescue. You may find it helpful to shout, "My sock! My sock!" all the way to your cabin in order to warn passengers and crew that they need to clear a path.

Hola de nuevo, amigos. Resulta maravilloso comprobar que en sólo tres meses se han duplicado los "clicks" (y por consiguiente las visitas) a éste, vuestro blog. Pienso que hemos crecido en calidad y que somos un pequeño referente del universo fantástico (cinematográfico) presente en la red. Estoy anonadado. la verdad es que poco a poco "Plan 9" ha crecido, intentando ofreceros lo mejor, con una buena calidad de vídeo y audio (si es posible) y con la sana intención de compartir con todos vosotros esta loca afición por el cine de sci-fi, terror, fantástico. Evidentemente, nada de esto sería posible sin vosotros y, por supuesto, el blog estaría cojo sin la presencia de maese Ente Dilucidado (Sgt. Howie) que ha cubierto un hueco, de forma magistral, dándole más consistencia a este pequeño espacio dedicado a lo fantástico. Mil gracias, maese Dilucidado.
Gracias a todos por estar ahí: Elessar, Zardoz, Muertevideano, Primo Nacho, Protext, Macnolo, Terraman, DAVIDEOMUSIC73, Ana, Lagry, [LuS-K], Maxi, Sr Nocivo, Crowley,... Y a todos los demás que aunque no os cite estáis presentes en esta destartalada nave especial.

Microsoft has partnered with a San Francisco-based biotech startup Twist and paid it to create ten million strands of long oligonucleotides — laboratory-made molecules of digital storage DNA.
The amount of storage available has long been outpaced by the amount of digital data available. To overcome this problem, Windows maker Microsoft has announced that it’s working on a technique to store data on DNA strands.
Microsoft will study and develop the DNA technique as a long-term secure data storage system. As a result of this partnership, Microsoft gives the data as a digital sequence to Twist, which the bioscience startup converts in the physical form using synthetic biology. After this, it transfers the DNA to Microsoft for further steps.According to the latest reports, a single gram of the long-chain DNA can store 1,000,000,000 TB or a zettabyte.The amount of storage available has long been outpaced by the amount of digital data available. To overcome this problem, Windows maker Microsoft has announced that it’s working on a technique to store data on DNA strands.
“As our digital data continues to expand exponentially, we need new methods for long-term, secure data storage,” says Microsoft Research’s Doug Carmean in the press release.
How is data stored in a DNA molecule?
If you remember your high school biology, you might be knowing that a DNA molecule is made up of 4 based — Adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C).Their different combinations appear on a chain of DNA and they encode the biological information. To store the data on a DNA strand, the researchers convert the zeroes and ones of a digital file using the combinations of these four DNA-building blocks.
The big difficulty with the DNA storage is the writing the data and then reading it. Over the past years, this genetic sequencing process has become cheaper. With further research and development, if this technology could be made cheap enough, DNA storage could evolve as a long-term data archiving method.

-Games of course! Until Prince of Persia, Fallout and Pro Evolution Soccer get ported to Linux, a good solution are Flash games.

There are more sites with flash games, but I didnt find any which such a high amount. Googling for "flash games", will show more sites like this.
