Heres a wonderful out of context clip apparently of Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen casually mentioning the age of the Earth as she talks about Arizonas plans to mine Uranium.
Its terrifying to think that weve developed the skills to turn Uranium into both energy and bombs but there are still people in charge of things so clueless.
As science progresses we cant just bring some people up to speed with how the world works. We have to bring everyone. Otherwise we get situations like this.
